Your Visit To VRMNY

The Day Of Your Appointment

What to Bring with You

You should bring all records and diagnostic tests and/or photographs that have been performed and that are related to your condition. This information will be helpful to your VRMNY physician in evaluating your eyes and planning your treatment regimen.

What to Expect

You should plan to spend approximately 4 hours at our office for an average new patient visit. This amount of time is necessary in order to do all of the examinations and diagnostic testing that is needed to diagnose and treat your ocular condition.

Upon check in by our front office staff, an experienced ophthalmic technician will speak with you and take your medical and ocular history. They will then test your vision and dilate your pupils. Once you are dilated your VRMNY physician will speak with you and examine you. Various diagnostic tests and ocular imaging will be recommended by your physician depending on your ocular findings. Ocular imaging is performed in our offices by certified ophthalmic photographers. Once your physician reviews your diagnostic tests a treatment plan will be developed for you that day. If treatment is recommend, most treatments are done in the office that same day.

We have provided directions to our offices, parking facilities, hotels, and nearby eateries close to our offices.
